The broker-owned firm Lee & Associates announced that Frank Martone, Esq. has joined the company as senior transaction coordinator. In this role, he will apply his legal expertise to close contracts quickly and professionally. Mr. Martone is a licensed attorney and a member of the Florida Bar. He earned his law degree from Ave Maria University. Prior to law school, Frank earned his MBA in business administration and his bachelor’s in finance from University of New Haven in West Haven, Connecticut.

Conditioned Air Company announced that it has enhanced its senior leadership team with the recent addition of Diane Arutt Matty as its new Chief Financial Officer. A licensed Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Matty brings over 30 years of executive financial management experience to Conditioned Air. Most recently, she served as vice president of finance/accounting and assistant treasurer for Fuel Capital Group, a motorcycle financing and leasing firm. She also previously operated her own professional consulting firm in Port Washington, N.Y. Ms. Matty started her career in 1990 as a senior audit manager with the global firm of Ernst & Young LLP in New York, N.Y.

The Lee County Board of Port Commissioners elected Cecil L. Pendergrass as chair for 2022 during its Jan. 20 meeting. Ray Sandelli was elected as vice chair. The board, composed of the five Lee County Commissioners, meets bi-monthly as the Board of Port Commissioners to set policy and direct the operations of Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field in Fort Myers. The other commissioners include Brian Hamman, Frank Mann and Kevin Ruane.

Hodges University announced that Sam Lewis has joined the university’s board of trustees. Mr. Lewis, a southwest

Florida native, is the founder/CEO of WearTheFund, a Fort Myers based enterprise that “gives back” to charity on every order, to the nonprofit organization of a client’s choice. He has spent the past nine years as the fundraising and event chair of the Fort Myers Alzheimer’s Association’s “The Longest Day” event. Additionally, he was a founding board member of Ronald McDonald House Charities “Red Shoe Society” SWFL, and a former board member of Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships.

Rachel Peacock recently joined the Children’s Advocacy Center of SWFL as director of development and community relations. In this role, she will work to expand the awareness of the agency in the community while also cultivating and maintaining donor relationships. Ms. Peacock comes to the CAC from WGCU in the development and management of their corporate support division for the last six years. Her professional experience prior to WGCU included a career in campaign management for elected officials in both local and state offices.

Roxanne Mihm recently joined One Source Business Capital as the administrative manager. In this role, she manages the daily business operations and assists the firm with coordinating business loans to help business owners and entrepreneurs succeed. Ms. Mihm has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial banking industry in Southwest Florida. She previously worked for Fifth Third Bank in its commercial, treasury management, and merchant services areas. She subsequently was the card product manager for Florida Community Bank. ¦
