The Naples Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America is presenting Naples’ premier luxury car event — The Naples Automotive Experience — Feb. 3-6. Proceeds from the events benefit St. Matthew’s House. In its 18th year, the popular celebration of the ultimate in exotic, luxury and vintage cars will be bigger and better than ever. It now includes the inaugural Naples Motorcar Auction presented in partnership with the Saratoga Automobile Museum, presenter of the nationally acclaimed Saratoga Motorcar Auction.
¦ Thursday, Feb. 3, from 6 to 10 p.m., The Naples Automotive Experience Jetport Reception officially kicks off the series of four events at Naples Airport’s Elite Jets hangar and outdoor tarmac. The evening features exotic cars, airplanes, a cigar lounge, fine wines, music, great food and more. Tickets range from $300 to $500 per person.
¦ Friday, Feb. 4, from noon to 4 p.m., The Naples Automotive Experience Motorcar Auction takes place at Ultimate Garages of Naples. Approximately 100 exotic, luxury and collector cars will be presented for auction. This first ever Naples event is powered by the Saratoga Motorcar Auctions in partnership with the Ferrari Club of America, Naples Chapter. This event also will benefit St. Matthew’s House as well as the Saratoga Automobile Museum, a nonprofit organization. Standard bidder registration fee for the Naples Motorcar Auction is $200. VIP bidder registration fee is $300. Bidder registration applications must be accompanied by payment via check or credit card. Ferrari Club of America Naples Chapter vice president and St. Matthew’s House board member Dennis Flint is the matchmaker who brought the Saratoga Automobile Museum to the Naples Automotive Experience. A Silver Arrow member of the Saratoga Automobile Museum, he has attended many of the organization’s very successful auctions.
“I’ve been a member of the Saratoga Automobile Museum since its founding,” he notes. “The Naples Automobile Experience needed top professional help to get a high level auction started in Naples. The Saratoga Automobile Museum is the perfect organization to partner with the Ferrari Club and St. Matthew’s House to continue to expand and enhance the success of the Naples Automotive Experience.”
¦ Saturday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., The Naples Automotive Experience Cars on 5th Concours takes place showcasing more than 650 cars, including more than 150 Ferraris and 450 other exotic, Porsche, Corvettes, vintage and muscle cars exhibited along 5th Avenue South in downtown Naples. Cars on 5th is the largest one-day event in Naples. A special addition to this year’s event includes a surprise performance by Southwest Florida’s own Ben Allen — a top nine semifinalist on NBC’s The Voice — and the Ben Allen Band.
Cars on 5th Concours VIP all-access and general admission wristbands are on advance sale now. Admission wristbands are $30 per person for general admission (age 13 and over) and $60 for a family pass. VIP all-access admission wristbands are $100 per person (age 13 and over). VIP all-access admission includes access to the main show, plus exclusive access to the VIP Scuderia where the highest value Ferraris are showcased. Complimentary drinks, wine tasting, and food by Delicious by Design catering are included in the VIP all-access admission as well as private restrooms.
Free shuttle service will be available on Saturday to all Cars on 5th attendees from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.. Parking and pickup is at Collier County Government Center, U.S. 41 and Airport Pulling Road.
¦ Sunday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Naples Automotive Experience Motorcar Auction post-sale continues at Ultimate Garages of Naples. This will be a last chance sale for cars in the auction.
