President & CEO, Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce

Start your day with a dose of Business Smarts! No matter how long you’ve been in the workforce, there are always skills to brush up on and new things to learn. That’s why the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to launch a new program Oct. 24: Business

Smarts.

Our goal for Business Smarts is to give the audience members practical takeaways they can use at work or in their careers, along with an opportunity to network, all before 9 a.m. Business Smarts will be an upbeat way for attendees to start their workdays and will feature an expert presenter the fourth Tuesday of each month from January through October. These events will start at 8 a.m. in the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Community Room and end by 9 a.m., just in time to start your work day.

The first event will be held Oct. 24, and will feature Christine Davlin of the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau. Ms. Davlin will speak about “Bridging the Generations in Today’s Workforce.” She’ll cover generational differences between each of the age groups currently in the workforce and help attendees understand how best to work with each group. This insightful presentation will have some great takeaway information for attendees to apply in their own workplaces.

This program will give attendees the chance to refresh on some professional skills and learn a few new ones. Each of the presentations will include a question-and-answer session, giving individuals the chance to ask specific questions that are relevant to their own situations and workplaces.

Call the Chamber today at 992-2943 or visit BonitaSpringsChamber.com to reserve your spot at the Oct. 24 Business Smarts event. Tickets for members will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Guests can attend a Business Smarts event for $35. ¦
