CEO panel gives young professionals a view from the top

President & CEO, Bonita Springs Chamber of Commerce

From solving conflict to building a vision, our area executives have a lot of knowledge to share, especially with young professionals looking to move forward in their careers.

On Sept. 8, the Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals will host our annual CEO Panel Luncheon, and four local leaders will share their stories. The speakers will be: David Diamond, co-founder and president of DeAngelis Diamond Construction; Armando Llechu, chief administrative officer at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida; Mayela Rosales, co-founder and executive vice president of Media Vista Group, LLC; and Juliann Pless, senior vice president of CSI globalvCard.

These speakers are business experts with a lot of stories to tell. Mr. Diamond, for example, has launched more than 20 startup companies. Three were eventually acquired by Google, Amazon and TripAdvisor. Ms. Rosales is the president and co-founder of Media Vista Group, LLC, the largest Hispanic media company in Southwest Florida, with holdings including the D’Latinos television program, D’Latinos magazine and dlatinos.com.

In addition to the chance to hear from each panelist, attendees can also participate in a lively question-and-answer session. They can either tweet a question using the hashtag “#viewfromthetop” or ask the panelists a question in person.

The CEO Panel Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center. Tickets are available for $35 at BonitaSpringsChamber.com or over the phone at 992-2943.

Sponsorships are also available, and interested chamber member businesses can call Lauren Ware at the chamber to learn more. Sponsors for this event include Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association, Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida and Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa. ¦
